Gbajabiamila, Wase join forces for Speakership

The two leading aspirants for the speakership position of the ninth National Assembly, Femi Gbajabiamila, the current House of Representatives Leader, and Mohammed Idris Wase have decided to work together in the race for the leadership of the next House.

Gbajabiamila (Surulere Federal Constituency, Lagos) and Wase (Wase Federal Constituency, Plateau), agreed that Gbajabiamila would be Speaker and Wase, Deputy Speaker in the Ninth Assembly.

The groups met at Trascorp Hotel, Abuja

Despite of the choice of the Southwest by the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the zone to produce the Speaker of the 9th House, but the Lagos representative has faced contention from aspirants from the Northcentral. 00000000000000
