Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo got into history book on Saturday as Juventus secured its 8th consecutive Italian 2018/19 “Scudetto” Serie A championships with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina, as they came from behind following a below-par first half.
The title win made Ronaldo, the first footballer to win the leading league championship in England (Premier League), Spain (La Liga) and Italy (Seria A) titles.
Ronaldo had won the premiership thrice with Manchester United in 2006/07, 2007/08 and 2008/09; and the La Liga with Real Madrid twice in 2011/12 and 2016/17.
Juventus greatly boosted its chance of winning the title this season by signing Ronaldo in the summer and remained unbeaten for the first seven months of the season until a 2-0 loss at Genoa ended that run on March 17.
