Dr Adeleke Adedipe, an oil and gas entrepreneur, has been named the Ondo State Outstanding Man of the Year.
He was honoured at an event at the International Event Centre, Akure which was attended by many dignitaries, especially top indigenes of Ondo State.
In response to the honour bestowed on him, Adedipe said the recognition meant that his people appreciated his little gesture and this will encourage him to continue to think about them first in all what he wants to do.
He stressed that he is ever ready to do more for the upliftment and the development of humanity. He also appreciated God for giving him the grace to serve his people.
Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure, who also spoke at the occasion said he was delighted for the platform to have chosen Adedipe to be conferred with such prestigious award. However, the monarch said he was not surprised bt the development as Adedipe truly deserved the honour judging from his antecedents, developmental initiatives and tenacity of purpose.
Oba Aladelusi pointed out that the recipient and his wife have demonstrated passion for the development of humanity as his passion for giving back to the society is unquantifiable having use every opportunity to help his people with what God has given him.
Adedipe, who is the CEO of Lekoil Limited, also used the occasion to call on other well-meaning indigenes of the state and Nigerians in Nigeria and abroad to come home and join hands together to move the state and nation forward.
